At the start of Term 2, all the photography classes from St. Dominics College went into Sydney to a variety of locations to look at the Head On theme. The students started in the Paddington Reservoir Gardens (Top Left), where the Head-On exhibition was being displayed. The students were able to go around and have a look at the different artworks on display. Afterwards the students got to do a walk around the city (Top Right), and were able to take some photos of the scenery around as they walked around. The next part of the day, the students took the bus to go look at the Chinese Gardens in Darling Harbor (Bottom Left). The students got 1 hour to go around and take as many photos as they could. The final part of the trip involved the students getting to walk around and take photos of various buildings and architecture of the buildings around (Bottom Right). The students got to take photos of these buildings and how they were built and designed. Overall this excursion was a very good experience for the students as they not only got to take some good photos, but got to learn some cool new techniques and ideas to try out for the future.
