One of the things that the students did in the year was they had to make up their own personal project. The idea/theme that Ethan had come up with in the end was, "The Idea of trying to fit into somewhere new". This idea can be a very serious topic. People having struggles and difficulties trying to fit into somewhere new they haven't been before can really affect how that person may feel. They could lose confidence in themselves or not be able to build up their self confidence. From research that he done, he wasn't able to find any photographers that study or use this idea in photography.
